Outer Banks West KOA & Blue Water Honor Healthcare Workers & First Responders with Exclusive Free Appreciation Weekend

Outer Banks West/Currituck Sound KOA and Blue Water Hospitality today announced that they will host a free appreciation weekend event March 26-28 for the region's frontline healthcare workers and first responders.

These "hometown heroes" will enjoy a complimentary weekend of breathtaking Currituck Sound views and family-friendly amenities and activities (both inside and outside the campground's 3,200-square-foot recreation and events space), including arts and crafts, local food trucks, and live entertainment.

This appreciation event is open free of charge to active healthcare workers and first responders – including law enforcement, firefighters, paramedics, and emergency medical technicians – who provide valid identification. During this event, Outer Banks West KOA will also be collecting canned food donations for the Lower Currituck Food Pantry and Pilmoor Memorial United Methodist Food Pantry to help combat food insecurity in the area.
